As part of the Pedagogy Saturday preconference workshop (Artistry track), VGP presents a lecture-recital titled "Inspiring Your Students' Creativity Using Video Game Music in Your Teaching!"

VGP performs video game music live, takes requests from the audience, and hosts a round of Guess the Theme. GAMEFEST is the Animation & Gaming program's annual showcase of student work, featuring projects from across Mt. SAC's Commercial Entertainment Arts (CEA) disciplines—Radio, TV, Audio Arts, Music, Illustration, Journalism Photography, Drones, and Virtual Reality.

VGP joins flutist Karin Fabiero for an evening of classical repertoire, performing Chopin's Andante spianato et grande polonaise brillante and the first movement (Lento – Allegro) of Yuko Uebayashi's Sonata for Flute and Piano.
